This year’s Summit will be held at the Memorial Union, located in the heart of the Oregon State University campus. Oregon State University was recently featured on a TripAdvisor’s website FlipKey. The FlipKey blog mentioned OSU in an article titled, “50 States Series: Top Campuses Worth Traveling For.” They compiled a list of one college or university per state that is a must-see.
For the state of Oregon, OSU was featured as the highlighted university worth traveling for. In the article, OSU is must see for our campus layout. One TripAdvisor review read, “under-the-radar jewel.” This comment stems from our beautiful green campus and historic brick buildings.
The 400-acre main campus in Corvallis includes a Historic District, making Oregon State one of only a handful of U.S. University campuses listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The district includes such icons as Weatherford Hall, the Memorial Union and Benton Hall, the oldest building on campus.
